The following
list provides an outline of the various functions and tasks
that Mothers Against Methamphetamine or MAMA performs in an
effort to help meth addicts of all genders, ages and ethnicities
with their families and the community. Methamphetamine does
not discriminate; any individual and family caught in its
grip appreciate that statement.
A second function, again noted
below, is public awareness about methamphetamine. The Leland
Family Ministries’ MAMA program in conjunction with
the internationally recognized MAMA organization is unique
in its ability to raise awareness through literature, electronic
media and seminars about methamphetamine. MAMA emphasizes
the significant risk of addiction that even one-time use of
methamphetamine can cause. This is no recreational drug!

meth abuse: mental and physical health, law enforcement,

well being of the communities and the religious organizations |
